Katie Horton is a Philadelphia based dancer and choreographer. She holds a B.A. in Dance Performance and Choreography/Psychology from Hope College where she was a member of dANCEpROjECt directed by Steven Iannacone. In addition to choreographing her own works in student showcases, Katie made a guest appearance with Dorell Martin's DanceFusion, worked with Matt Thornton, Alicia Diaz, Anne-Rene Petrarca, Sharon Wong and Tracy Kofford.
Katie spent two years in Buffalo, NY where she worked with LehrerDance, Buffalo's premier modern dance company. She also made appearances in productions of 'A Chorus Line' as Sheila and in 'Hello! Dolly!' as an ensemble chorus member and dancer. Meanwhile she desgined and constructed costumes for an original musical "4:20: The Musical" which was accepted into international fringe festivals.
Since arriving in Philadelphia, she has produced, choreographed and performed in original works for the 2013, 2014 and 2015 Philadelphia FringeArts festival. Along with creating her own works, she worked for two seasons with the well established Anne-Marie Mulgrew and Dancers CO, and is a member of, and Costume Manager for, The Old City Sweethearts.

Katie is an aerials student at Secret Circus and is always excited to try new ways to use her body. She will run in her third half marathon in September 2020
